The high performance Vectra has received some engine enhancements that push its power up from 255PS to 280PS. Changes include a redesigned induction system, modified engine components and retuned electronic engine control software.

The VXR is available in two bodystyles, a VXR-hatch and a VXR-estate. Both variants benefit from this modification and will cost £215 more than the older 255PS version.
